Remember a while back being at a swanky house party with James H? Seems he has a blog called The Dainty Bastard. Go look at what makes him tick. He posts interesting pictures and tidbits of his work too. Great stuff!

he is good. i remember his show at the o’connor a few years ago. thanks for the link to the blog.
You should invite him along camping. I bet he could get lots of material for his canvases in that back wooded area.
That’s my problem. I whore out my skills all day, so the last thing I want to do when I get home is be creative. Guess I need to push myself a bit…I’ll go buy some canvas this weekend, see what I can come up with.
I sent James an email last night telling him how much I admired his stuff. He sent me a “big” version of Monster.
I had an art teacher once who said we all have within us the capacity to make art like that, it just depends on your desires (snicker from the jocks in the back of the class, taking art for the easy grade).
I wonder how productive I’d be without a computer/boyfriend/job to pay for outrageous things.
This makes me absolutely insane with jealousy:

God, I wish I did that. I wish I thought I had the skill to do that. I love his stuff.
