The cans have gotten thinner with newer technology… saves pop companies millions. Showing my age… when I was a kid we would collect cans and then hold them to a magnet to tell if they were aluminum or steel pop cans.
I wish we could find cans from the 70’s do it properly.
We never made “high heels” per say, we’d do only one heel with a can and use it to glide on asphalt by pushing with the other foot.

You mean you didn’t crush them vertically and then use duct tape to affix them to your shoes to make high heels??
