“Limp exploration of the liberal impulse”

Celebs and Media, Toronto

…but still a clear winner!

God, what did Micheal do to piss of Richard Ouzounian? Cut in front of him at Tim Hortons?

Never mind, the other papers are congratulatory.

And so am I! Great job Mike!

I always thought “…regarded as the least objectionable of a very weak lot.” was generally a pretty good review by a Canadian Reviewer on a Canadian production.

“The play works brilliantly… well written and with such a tight cast”. I’m not sure how they found that out about the cast, but these reviewers seemed to like the play.

Thanks Ted! That guy can’t stand that his judgement of my play isn’t the dominant one, that’s all. He’s an exhausting dork.

    See ya

He does call the winner of the Outstanding lead in a Musical for Rocky Horror “a massively butch version of Dr. Frank-N-Furter” as if he’s seen them all…

it sounds as if the critic is desperately trying to imply that your brother likes cock (and isn’t very good with them). is ‘the liberal impulse’ now a significant theatrical current or is mr. oozy just mangling the language in the grand tradition of critics everywhere?

You can get a list of all his articles from clicking on his name at thestar.com. I wonder what the ratio of positive to negative are.

I can’t be bothered though. From all the articles I’ve read of his (and not just of my brother’s work), he rarely offers praise.

Doesn’ the theatre community dislike Ouzounizn a lot? I think Brad Fraser did a column about him in fab saying he was a prick.
