Da, if its a fighting fish which I think sonny boy said it was you can get another fish but it has to go in its own bowl or they will rip each other apart – hence the name fighting fish (beta splendens). Even if you put the fish in another bowl you’ll have to put a card between them so they don’t posture themselves to death.
Unless you WANT to kill your son’s fish while he’s on vacation – which I doubt because you want to feed… it… …
What if the little boy-fish likes other boy-fishies? Da resist overfeeding. I know what it’s like, though…
Everytime I see my little boy (27) the first thing out of my mouth, no matter how evolve a Ma I am, is “you’re too skinny…eat something, anything…”
Stick to the “right” amount….!!! My kids have a book where a little boy didn’t listen and he ended up having to put the fish into a swimming pool…..
This poor fish!!! Only four pellets twice a day, ridiclous. Have doubled his food, so he will like me, and grow. I am looking for a female fish to keep him swiming, and add some sparkle to his life.
