Sharkboy is going through some pretty rough job upheaval right now since a monster company has come in and swallowed up his old office.
So I ask you, el readeros del Deadrobotico, what is the most pathetic thing about where you work right now?
I’ll start: I had to eat my salad today with a spoon because everyone in the company is too lazy to wash dishes so the management has removed 99% of all plates and cutlery from the kitchen. I’ve had better utensils on Air Canada! (ba-bum cha!)

My job sucks so hard that most days I spend it in bars having a beer. . . even when it’s only 26 degrees out.

I had a job once, poisoning gophers in a field.
I was to pour poison into wheat and feed it down the gopher holes…I saw one dead gopher and started not to add the poison and spent the whole summer feeding the gophers…they loved me.
The farmer however, whose name was I swear “Farmer Giles” for you Tolkein afficinados, sold out soon afterwards…

They raised the employee drink price from $1.50 to $1.75.
Actually, it turns out I’m the lucky one… only 5 employees out of 130 were laid off or sent to a sister company, I’m one of them and the benefits are much better, casual dress all summer long, ice cream every day over 30 degrees (they are probably broke by now)… and I get to NEVER work for EL DIABLO anymore… that is one thing I’m not gonna miss…
